|“My experience with Todd Krause, totally changed my perception of personal trainers. At first, I only planned on getting a few sessions with him to help me properly use the gym equipment. I wasn’t sure if I was wasting my money because my previous personal trainer I had a few years ago, was a joke. With Todd, not only did I start seeing results within the first few weeks, I was having a blast during my sessions! Todd has not only helped me with the physical part, he’s helped me reach my dreams! A year later I’m STILL training with him. With his help, I competed in the NGA Northern States body building competition, and I won second place in my division! So many doors have opened up for me, and I wouldn’t be where I’m out now without the support and help of Todd. Thanks Todd!”... Crystal W. – Salt Lake City, Utah|
“I have never been more happy with any decision as I was when I came to the gym to talk to Todd. I have learned so much about exercising and nutrition just in the short time we trained together. I am on my way to military boot camp and was so worried I would not be in shape enough to get through it. I now feel very confident that I can meet or even exceed the physical requirements. I was working out on my own almost every day but wasn’t getting any results and could not figure out why. Using my bodybugg helped sooo much! It amazed me how off my estimations were for counting calories and burning calories. It took all the guess work out of it.. the results were on the screen in front of me everyday. It was good motivation when I didn’t really feel like going for a run but saw that I needed to just burn 300 more calories to have a proper deficit. My overall mood and happiness has improved a ton as well. My results have inspired friends and family around me to get healthy!” Cassidy B. – Cottonwood Heights, Utah
“Hi my name is Crissy. My story was long in the making. I have had a serious weight problem since the age of eight. I have tried literally every diet you can possibly think of. While gastric bypass surgery seemed like the best option, I made the decision to reach my goal on my own. I knew I needed professional help, so I joined a gym and hired a personal trainer. My trainer’s name is Todd Krause. He helped design my exercise and nutrition program. He introduced my to the bodybugg program which has taken all of the guesswork out of losing weight. I have worked with Todd since September 2008, and I lost 72lbs in a little over 6 months. I work with him 3 days a week and do cardio everyday. I have never looked or felt better in my life! I was the girl that never believed my fitness dreams were possible, but now my dreams are limitless!” Crissy O. – Murray, Utah
“Todd is patient, encouraging, and helps me stay on track, even outside of our session time“… Dan E. -Highland, UT
“The best decision I have ever made in my entire life for the overall health of my mind, body, and spirit was to train with Todd Krause. His passion for healing you is what sets Todd apart from every other trainer you will ever meet. That’s what will make the difference for you, I promise. It still amazes me how quickly my world changed when I just DECIDED to commit to do everything Todd taught me. He was my guide down the hard road to recovery, really. Here’s my story:
I woke up one day and realized that I hated everything. Literally, my entire life was miserable because I had chosen misery. I drudged through every day, hating school, bummed at work, and with a big, black raincloud over my head, in general. My mind was cloudy, my body was slow and out of shape, and I had lost the connection I used to have to my own soul. I was very lost…and it wasn’t the first time. I had tried many times to achieve health through fitness, but I’m not just talking, “health: noun. looking better in a bathing suit.” I am talking, “health: more than a noun. complete peace. oneness of mind, body, and soul. happiness.” This kind of “health” was something I had never achieved. And that kind of health was all I wanted.
I consider the weight and health concerns I have had in my life to be attached to my addictions (which can be anything! television, coffee, being lazy, being sad), and Todd was my personal “rehab,” if you will. I had been making decisions for a long time based on some very deep, emotional dams that I had built up over time. These decisions led me to a dark place, an emotionally unhealthy place, a sad place, and an overweight place. It wasn’t hard to see that I was unhappy in pretty much every aspect of life. I knew something had to change, and I knew I needed professional help. There were many tears! Changing my life was easily the most difficult endeavor I have ever tackled, BUT I DID IT!
Because Todd helped me overcome my personal “demons,” and taught me that losing weight is a science (there really is no guesswork needed, he’ll teach you the way by using a body bugg and the apex fitness calorie tracking website), I lost 40 pounds in just over a year. When I started training with Todd, I was mortified when I stepped on the scale at nearly 200 pounds, which was 60 pounds heavier than I was a few years ago. I am happy to admit that I am now 155 pounds and still losing due to the knowledge Todd gave me on nutrition and fitness. I am telling you, taking control of your food and exercise is the first step to a COMPLETE METAMORPHOSIS of your health. My mind is clearer, I am happier at work, my friends and family have recognized an overall brighter countenance in me. I am healthy. I cannot thank Todd enough for the support and love he has given me. He is my best friend, my confidant, and my hero. He will work with you from the bottom of his heart. He just “gets it.” I cannot encourage you enough to work with Todd and transform your world!”… Belle C.– Taylorsville, UT
My name is Bill Arnold. The before picture was taken in May 2009 after I had spent almost two years being primary care giver to my 90+ year old father and was still dealing with his estate. My diet was out of control, my alcohol consumption was not healthy and my daily exercise andactivity were almost nill. I was tipping the scales at about 245 and was at the point of having to gofrom a 38 inch waist pant to a 40 inch waist. I started trying to watch my diet and to get more exercise, and by Thanksgiving 2009 wasdown to about 235 pounds and at least a comfortable 38 inch waist. At Thanksgiving my brotherand sister had made some observations about my weight and appearance, so afterward I committedmyself to getting my weight down at least under 200 pounds. By still primarily just watching dietand alcohol consumption more closely, had by November 2010 gotten my weight down to about 215and a 37 inch waist. Then due to some other events in my life, I needed to review my expenses and realized I hada gym membership I had never used and either needed to get rid of or start using. Fortunately, Imade the decision to start using it. I also realized that my weight loss, etc. had hit a plateau whichhad gone on for quite some time and I needed help from someone else. That’s when I decided toengage a trainer at the gym to give my exercise/activity regimen the needed boost to get me off thatplateau. That’s how I met Todd. I spent about 5-1/2 months working with Todd 3 days a week and by May 2011, when the“after” picture was taken, had lost another 20+ pounds dropping down to the mid-190s (finally below 200 for the first time in over 10 years) and my waist was 35 inches. Todd was a tremendous boostto my physical, emotional and psychological well being. Our sessions were never repetitive, butsomething different every time, with several sessions passing before coming back to a particularapparatus or exercise. He was always supportive and encouraging. He was also complimentarywhen he saw real changes in my appearance. Additionally, Todd got me on the Bodybugg Systemof nutrition, food logging and calorie watching. He gave me invaluable tips and assistance with mydiet and nutritional habits which further aided me in losing the desired weight. Finally, in August 2011 I had to have open heart surgery to replace my aortic valve and torepair an aneurysm in my ascending aorta. I came through the surgery with flying colors and havebeen making a quick and easy recovery. My doctors, the trainers in Cardiac Rehab and I believe thatit is because of my weight loss and working with Todd to get into the best physical condition I’vebeen in, probably since college, that I have done so well in coming through this. In fact the trainersin Rehab have to keep holding me back from trying to do too much or go too fast. I’m very much looking forward to continuing working with Todd in his new endeavor. He’snot only been a great trainer, and a tremendous asset to my health program, he’s also become avalued friend. Bill Arnold, Murray, UT
